Innovation, gastronomy, and connection take center stage at ’t Preuvenemint 2026

The 43rd edition of 't Preuvenemint was officially kicked off on Tuesday evening with a successful PreuvenePreview. From August 27 to August 30, 2026,Maastricht's Vrijthof square will once again serve as the backdrop for the largest gastronomic event in the Benelux, where fine dining, social connection, and community engagement come together. 

't StruysKommitee is looking forward with pride to an edition full of energy and innovation. All stand locations have been filled, and the lineup features a promising mix of established names, familiar faces, and a new generation of entrepreneurs bringing their own unique flavors and signature styles to the Vrijthof. This promises to make 't Preuvenemint an edition where experience and fresh ideas reinforce one another. 

Newcomers this year include Enigma, IJsbaas, and a collaboration between Goessens Professionals in Wine & WY. De Oesterbazen & Les Trois Seaux are also joining forces on the Vrijthof this year. Additionally, Royal Steakhouse & Cocktails will be making its debut at the upcoming edition. 

Innovations enhance the experience

During the last edition, various organizational adjustments were met with positive feedback. Both visitors and participants appreciated the relocation of the stage, which created a more relaxed atmosphere, better flow, and a more pleasant overall experience on the square. The adjusted closing times were also received very positively. 

Furthermore, 't Preuvenemint remains committed to sustainability and quality. The familiar coin system will be maintained, and real glassware will be used again this year. It is a conscious choice that contributes to the event's atmosphere, hospitality, and sustainability goals. 

Enjoying for a good cause

Despite all the innovations, one aspect remains central: 't Preuvenemint is organized entirely for charity. Every year, the proceeds support social initiatives in the region. 

Charities can still apply until July 1, 2026, to be considered for a contribution from the event's proceeds by emailing goededoelen@preuvenemint.nl.

In addition, 't Preuvenemint will take a moment this year to bid farewell to Vojacek, who has dedicated himself to the event with great commitment for many years. 't StruysKommitee expresses its gratitude for his years of effort, loyalty, and dedication.

New website presented

The revamped 't Preuvenemint website was also unveiled during the PreuvenePreview. The new online environment was developed by Studio Hive in collaboration with the 't PreuveneMedia team and offers visitors, participants, and sponsors a contemporary look at the event.  

The website will be further expanded in the coming months with program information, participant pages, and background stories.
